In den vier Forschungsfeldern maritime Logistik, Hafen, Schifffahrt und Schiffbau überführen die Mitarbeitenden des Fraunhofer CML neueste wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse aus den vielfältigen Forschungstätigkeiten in praxisorientierte Anwendungen. Dabei stehen Lösungen für eine durchgängige Digitalisierung und Prozessautomatisierung, Dienstleistungskonzepte sowie KI-gestützte Datenauswertungen ebenso im Fokus wie autonome maritime Systeme und die nachhaltige Schifffahrt. Die innovativen Konzepte werden am CML durch Simulation, Modelle und im Realbetrieb entwickelt und evaluiert.
